disc material
A herniated disc occurs when the soft “jelly-like” center
extrudes through the outer portion of the disc. This may at times cause compression of the
nerve resulting in pain, numbness, and leg pain.
This condition can be treated conservatively with flexion-distraction chiropractic
adjustments, and proper modalities to control pain, and therapeutic exercises to relieve
stress on the disc and to promote healing.
This condition is the enclosure of the spinal canal and exciting nerves due to
multiple factors. May cause similar symptoms to a herniated disc, but these
patients tend to have more leg pain than back pain. Treatment focuses on
flexion treatments with stretching to open the spinal (Click here for more)

patient.
Treatment is aimed at taking pressure off inflamed
joints, and disc structures. Pain relief is also
achieved by relieving muscle pain and spasm.
Fortunately, you may achieve significant symptom
relief with chiropractic treatment and adjunctive
therapies.

SPONDYLOLISTHESIS:
The slippage of one vertebra
on the next. This may cause
increased joint compression
and put extra
stress on the disc and exiting
nerve. This may be cause of
stress fracture (Spondylolysis)

MUSCULAR DISORDERS ( SPASMS, TRIGGER POINTS,
STRAINS, PIRIFORMIS SYNDROME:
One of the most common disorders we treat. It is caused by the physiological
damage to the muscle tissue which causes pain, inflammation and dysfunction.
There are many treatment options for this problem. (click here for more info)
SPORTS INJURIES:
Two mechanisms of injury usually occur.
1) Acute onset- These symptoms begin immediately. Acute sprains, strains,
fractures etc.
2) Repetitive Stress disorders: Symptoms develop of time. Stress fractures,
chronic tendonitis, Knee tendonitis, Tennis/Golfer's elbow, just to name a few.

Chiropractic treatment has been shown to be effective in treatment of headache
pain. Tension and Cervicogenic (originating from neck/cervical spine) headaches
account for approximately 80 percent of all headaches. Many patients have a
immediate reduction in the severity and frequency of headache pain following
treatment. If you are not sure which type of headache you have, you need to be
evaluated, and a conservative treatment option may be best for you. After
examination, if you have a type of headache that we feel cannot be helped by
chiropractic we will refer you to the proper professional.
Please note that amongst other treatments we offer, our COLD LASER Treatment
is the latest modality used for treatment of headaches. (click here for headache
